We have spent the last 2 blissful days chilling out. I say chilling out, but we are both terrible sunbathers so have been swimming, burying each other in the sand and taking 4km walks along the beach! The sea here is a gorgeous aqua colour and although we cannot snorkle swimming is a must, especially when we are covered in sand after being buried!
Mae Nam is quiet, especially at night. On our way back from dinner and a few drinks yesterday we found phospheresence in the water. We were padding and saw little sparkly things light up near our feet, it was beautiful! I was really excited at finding a sparkle sea, whilst Steve was watching these strange hotair baloons be let off over the other side of the bay. I am not sure what it is that makes the water sparkly, but caught a glowing stone which quickly died out.
The only other thing we have to report is the Whisky here is stupidly cheap, they are practically giving it away! Therefore, we thought it would be rude not to take up the offer. We had a bottle of Whisky last night with some Red Bull, the Red Bull is really strong too! Forget the canned UK stuff, here it comes in Medicine bottles!
Heading to Ko Phag-Ngang tomorrow to meet up with Julia and the boys if they can pull themselves away from the apparently gorgeous Ko Chang.
