Planes, ferrys, smokey pick ups, more planes. (Steve)

21/2/05- So after an early night we headed for the ferry pier back to the mainland, where absoulutely sod all interesting happened, except that the pick up we got to take us to Trat airport had a broken exahust, resulting in a lovely cocktail of diesel fumes and dust for our lungs to cope with.

Trat airport is possibly the cutest airport anywhere, it is in the middle of nowhere, the buildings are all open and if you were feelling so inclined, you could easily commit kamikaze by running in front of a plane, no ridiculus air con'd departure gates here.

After changing at Bangkok we landed for one night in Samuim having missed the last ferry to Koh Pha-Ngan. Ended up in a shutter of a hotel but you just gotta do these things sometimes.....

Sian and me decided to see some ladyboy caberet while in chaweang (the nasty, really resorty part of Samui) and after they pinched my arse we had to go take a look. Well, is it a woman, is a man? We're convinced some are actually proper girls, talk about well strapped mans bits, and there are definately boobs (being flashed!!) around too. It was more of a fashion show though as they didnt really sing, just mimed badly. As we leave, Sian has a request from one rather tall 'lady' to see some real breast, which was obliged. The request I think they asked of me was not though. Nor is it printable!!

22/2/05- Great, another rough ferry ride. At least we hadnt all drunk many buckets of Sang-Song so none of us had an urge to empty our tummys. Arriving in Pha-Ngan we get a little glimpse of how busy Had Rin is going to be for the full moon party, feckin' packed. We are returning to Huy Sun in the North though, well away from the crowds. We arrived to hear the familar 'eh up chuck' of Carly and Trenna, two crazy gals we meet in Mumbai a few moths back.

Its really good to see them again, and Sian and me quickly set about catching up with them over beer in the sea. Theres a load of Irish lads here too, so the decision is taken to drink more buckets at the pirates bar at the end of the beach.

Needless to say, the evening ended rather messily, and resulted in the cancellation of the planned shopping for full moon outfits today. We are going to try and get some UV paint for our bottoms, so there should be some interesting pictures soon........
